This seminar provides a view of features in IBM Lotus Notes and Domino 7. After attending this seminar, participants should be able to articulate the technical and business benefits that adopting Lotus Notes and Domino 7 can provide to their organizations. They should also be able to begin the process of planning for the adoption of Notes and Domino 7 by their organization.
Specifically, participants should be able to understand how Notes/Domino 7 can help their organizations:
· Reduce or manage total cost of ownership
· Increase system-wide reliability and predictability
· Protect and maximize investments in existing Domino applications
· Enhance user productivity
· Increase flexibility in supporting mobile and remote workforces
· Enhance and expand system-wide security
Please note that The Power of IBM Lotus Notes/Domino 7 course is based on Beta 3 of the product. Therefore, some content in this course will not cover all of the latest updates in the final version of the IBM Lotus Notes/Domino product.

The target audience for this course is Personnel who want to begin the process of analyzing the impact of Lotus Notes and Domino 7 on their organizations. These personnel can include:
· System or IT architects
· Application developers
· Systems administrators
· Other personnel
That either provide input to the decision, or actually make the decision, to move a company or business unit from Lotus Notes and Domino 6.x to Notes and Domino 7. Whatever their titles and roles, these individuals have varying levels of technical and managerial responsibility, depending on the size of their organization and the complexity of their Notes/Domino environment.
